If I was asked to describe Sittingbourne Rail Football Club using one word it would have to be "Quality"! or as Paul Leggatt would say "Lush"!
We were one of the few Sunday league sides to be blessed with a good quantity of flair players including the likes of Paul Leggatt, Alec Rivers, and Andy Baker, backed with the experience of Paul Adams, Tim Smith, Paul Oxberry and that midfield ball winner Paul Acres.  You just had to admire how Paul Leggatt would perform 360 degree rotations and spin past players as if they weren't there, Andy Baker seemed to have the ball glued to his feet and Alec Rivers would flick the ball over his own and the opposing players head and run past him. No beer Bellies around here! Many of us went on to play beyond their year and continue to play to this day. Yaw Buamah even went on to join the MLS in the States .  

It was a real pleasure to be part of the team of which I'm proud.  I'd like to wish each and every one of you all the best for the future .
